ABOUT
As a graduate of Illinois State University with a B.S. in Environmental Health, and a concentration in Chemistry and Industrial Hygiene; and a graduate of the University of Central Missouri with an M.S. in Industrial Safety Management, Andrew specializes in risk assessments, site safety management, audits and safety program administration. Andrew also conducts Industrial Hygiene surveys and Ergonomics evaluations; and develops programs on Slip, Trip & Fall Prevention, Confined Space Entry, Fall Protection, Hazardous Materials & Chemical Safety, Process Safety Management, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and numerous other OSHA Compliance topics. He has played an integral part in designing comprehensive safety+health programs and policies from the ground up for businesses of all types and sizes.
Andrew is the lead safety trainer at Certified Safety Consulting, LLC, and provides safety expertise to large and small clients at both the operations and management levels. Andrew has been a presenter and trainer for numerous businesses and trade groups on a variety of topics including Accident Investigation, Defensive Driving, Ergonomics, Fall Protection/Fall Prevention, Lock-out/Tag-out, Materials Handling, Hazard Communication, PPE, Confined Space Entry, Crane Safety, Workers Compensation Cost Containment, Safety Committees and Safety Culture.
Andrew is a Board-Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Safety Professional (CSP), an authorized OSHA Outreach Instructor for Construction Standards, a Red Cross Instructor/Authorized Provider and a Board-Certified Professional Ergonomist (CPE). Andrew is an active member of the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE), a supporting member of the National Safety Council (NSC) and a long-time member of the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA).
